description

Luke Johnson and Clay Peters, two young ranchers, pass through Carson Point, Colorado, on their way to Texas to get some cattle. They are detained in town because Luke needs to recuperate from a bad cold, and because beautiful Amanda Long asks their help in establishing herself as the rightful owner of her late father’s ranch, the Crossed Forks.

Jack Gorin , who now runs the ranch, claims he bought it fair and square from Amanda’s father, and the whole town seems to be on his side. But there are even more sinister aspects to the controversy than Luke and Clay realize. And when they go up to the ranch to look for evidence regarding its true ownership, they become the guests of honor—at a surprise hanging party!
