Once Mack Jarvis went to work for the Tomahawk brand in Pioneer Valley, it didn’t take him long to fall in love with the owner’s daughter, Rosella Wade. He knew it would take money to support her, so he worked hard and bought himself a little feed store. Then he heard local banker Lou Kyle announce his engagement to the fair Rosella. And to make matters worse, Kyle planned to open up a feed store to compete with Mack. When three hundred head of Tomahawk cattle disappeared, Mack’s suspicions of the truth earned him threats on his life and a price on his head.
